Although the water is green (not turquoise) it is clear and refreshing. Going out to the river is a walk not a swim, but so pretty when you get there - early morning swimmer? you will see otters.

Poe Springs is a 202 acre county park adjacent to Warbler's. For a small fee, visitors can experience a second magnitude fresh water spring that is 72 degrees farenheit year-round. Poe is the closest public spring to Warbler's, our guests could actually put in a float at Poe for a short float down to Warbler's Ecocamp. Poe is great for swimming, grilling picnics, and snorkeling.

Poe Springs is a spring about 3 miles west of High Springs, Florida. It is located in Poe Springs Park, which is 202 acres in size. The spring is isolated from the main part of the park at its center, requiring a 0.3 mile hike one-way. The water temperature is 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Poe Springs Park is located just 8 miles from the cabin. Poe is a beautiful riverside park with a emerald spring hole and nature trails. Awesome playground area, picnic pavilions, soccer field, and volleyball courts. 5 minute nature trail over cypress boardwalk to get to the spring hole. This a great spot for families and big groups. Admission is $5 per/car.
