For swimming, we recommend checking out the public beaches in the downtown Ferry Landing District, adjacent to the town pier. There, visitors can stroll the Boardwalk, grab a bite at a waterfront restaurant or food truck, ride the swings on the playground, shop for souvenirs, cast a fishing line from the Municipal Pier.

Great place to go fishing be sure to get our license. If you are adventurous rent a kayak, and putt around on the Potomac River.
