Used to open to Palo Alto residents and their guests only since 1969. First time open after half a century, on December 17th, 2020, residents from all places can finally visit the park. It is 400 acres larger than Golden Gate Park and accounts for one-tenth of all the land in Palo Alto. Wondering why the Palo Altans keep this park to themselves?

A really well-kept park that used to be for Palo Alto residents only and is now open to the public. Free entrance and dogs on leash ok on weekdays. $6 entrance and no dogs on weekends. We enjoy kayaking with or inflatable kayak there.

A 1,400-acre park and nature preserve in the Santa Cruz Mountains within the city of Palo Alto. 11799 Page Mill Rd, Los Altos Hills. Parking is limited, so it's better to go early on weekends.
