Lovely local pub with good food and drink, one of a few that we frequently visit!

The Compton is a proper village pub. You'll be welcome, there's good food, good beer and plenty of parking. It's a pretty village too. Normal pub prices, beer garden etc. It may be wise to book a table on the weekends.

Local pub in the next village. Able to drive /cycle or take the public footpaths across the fields enjoying the unspoilt natural scenery

Great country pub, dog friendly, set in a lovely village with great walks in the surrounding countryside (we'll be happy to give you a route), roaring fires in the winter.
