10 min drive. Beautiful, National Historic Registry park with great hiking in Glen Ellen. The final resting place of famous novelist Jack London (“Call of the Wild”) who built several structures in the park. Good picnicking, trails, and a small museum. Entrance $10 per vehicle
Great stop for a picnic or go for a hike. The famous author /celebrity, lived and farmed here. His home is now a museum. Excellent picnic spot. Ask me about a free pass. Make sure to hike to the Wolf House. We have maps for you to borrow.
Beautiful place to hike and take in the place Jack called home. As an adventurer he could live anywhere and he chose to make the "Valley of the Moon" his home.
If you love history and nature this is the place for you! Enjoy the museum, a stroll through the woods to the Wolfe House, vineyards and private lake. Home to Broadway under the Stars in summer.

“Very historical. The last and northernmost California Mission right here in Sonoma! Circa 1823. In the museum they display original paintings of most of the California Missions before they were restored”
