All of the tour guides are either architects, architecture students, or architecture historians, making for an in-depth and personally rooted kind of touring experience that covers all of the discreet details. From the 100-year-old Art Deco, Neo-Classical, and Gothic Towers, to some of the tallest modern-day skyscrapers, Chicago is where old meets futuristic architectural endeavors. Must do but choose the provider. They are all good. Look for groupons. Book in advance. Show up early.

Chicago is famous for so many things...As a Chicagoan I am amazed everyday! The Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise encompasses the city's history, it's architecture and their architects with well rounded knowledge and light humor. The boat itself was clean and well kept. There are restrooms and a bar. The Captain handles the boat beautifully. The 90 minutes goes by too quickly!
