The season in Appalachian Ski Mountain lasts from mid-November to late March, and there is also night skiing every night, making it the only ski area in the Southeast with late-night skiing.

Having a car is the fastest way to get around. You can walk or ride a bike to historic downtown Todd. Boone and West Jefferson are bigger towns that are less than 20mins drive from Todd.
