It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage with its beautiful woodwork and wooden floors and stonework belongs to another era. The ideal stay is three nights which gives one two full days to walk and appreciative the pristine landscape.

Grysklip High Mountain Stone Cottage, CederbergThis grey-stone cottage is built against a rock face which is a dramatic back wall for the interior. All the stone used for the walls was collected nearby, so the cottage disappears into the theatre of the rocks and landscape. The views are spectacular in every direction, and the interior is warm and cosy with wooden floors and Cape furniture and colourful Himalayan textiles. The bathroom has a dramatic shower set against the rock-face, and there is a wonderful secluded outdoor bath.
