From a humble food truck to many locations across Austin, Via313 remains on Austin's Pizza list as a crowd favorite. The pizza is considered "Detroit Style" and has some of the best crispy crust in town. My favorites are "The Cadillac" and "The 500".

I was over the moon when PV opened a location near the house. They have THE BEST salsas and have some of my most favorite breakfast tacos in Austin. My favorites are the Don Chago and the Taco Bueno. Their Chilaquiles are also some of the best around!

Favorite patio haunt on the east side. I really enjoy the expansive patio so we can bring the pups and have a drink and eat. The Yucca fries are to die for! Be sure to order those up and marvel at how perfectly fried and dusted with seasoning they are. I'm also a huge fan of the queso (with sesame oil?!) and their chicken sesame salad. Yum yum yum!

The best cycling path in East Austin! The entrance is also located at Govalle park which has gotten quite the face lift over the last few years. It is now home to a brand new community swimming pool, basketball courts, picnic tables and a playground.

A favorite haunt of mine - the premier queer friendly bar of Austin! They always have cool stuff going on and their patio is one of the best in austin. Cocktails are a little pricey but are so so Good. Try a Golden Ticket or a Valley Girl.

This is the best dancing on the east side of 35. Things can get a little crowded at times but there is plenty of room (and people watching) on their vast back patio which also connects to the neighboring bar, Hotel Vegas.

OH is the new barbz on the east side! This club caters to a younger crowd with perfectly seleted and rework disco bops. The club can get quite crowded but the dance floor is always hopping and the lights are fun... definitely the type of place you don't intend to stay all night but then you look down at your watch and you've seemingly time warped to 2am. The owner is a well known artist about town and there's lots of interesting art touches all over the bar.

Essentials
The best HEB in all of Texas! Seriously, it's like a Whole Foods without all of the pretense. There is also a cafe and they have live music on the weekends. This is where I go to do all of my grocery/essential shopping.
