The village of Porto Rafael!

“Dreaming is living” was the motto of Rafael Neville, a Spanish count defined as pop and hippy, who was looking for the beach of his dreams in the 1960s. Eventually he found it in the place where Porto Rafael now stands, which in fact bears his name. He traveled all over the Mediterranean but fell in love with a small beach near Palau and decided to build a new seaside village here.
