A wine bar but so much better. The team are really helpful in suggesting something delicious to drink and they serve lovely eats from bread and olives to cheese toasties, wine and cheese flights and whole cheese boards.
Children are allowed but the menu is not tailored to them.
Unfortunately dogs are only allowed in the outdoor tables (there are 4 tables sitting 2-3 people each).

Delicious food and fantastic service - you won't be disappointed. The food is "pub style" - think steak pies, fish and chips and juicy burgers. But done with local produce and a sprinkle of fine dining in terms of the quality.

Without a doubt the best thai food I have had outside of Thailand. If you like your thai food hot, let them know when you're ordering. The menu is fantastic with old favourites like green curry but plenty of different, traditional dishes to get your tastebuds going.
They have a more limited take away menu as the head chef and owner won't let anything that doesn't travel well go for take away!

Just a couple of minutes walk from my flat is Inverleith Park. It's dog friendly and great for children too. There is a children's play area and also large pond with ducks and swans.

Water of Leith walkway runs directly past my flat. Joining on one side it takes you to the historic Dean Village and continues past the Modern Art Galleries, to Haymarket, Roseburn and beyond. The other side will take you through Canonmills, continuing down to Leith.
