Favorit walks in the nature and the Forts of Amager, Copenhagen
Amager Beach Parc and Kastrup Fort invite you to several nice walks. You will be able to reach beaches and parcs in less than 5 minutes.
With a car or if you are keen to take 20 km by bike you can also enjoy Dragør and Amagers very large areas of beautyful nature: Natur Center Amager.
Like Venice Beach in LA. You have loads of sportsactivities. Very good icecreams. Views directly to Sweden in good weather. Invites to very nice walks. Whether you are for a short 1 km or 7 km walks along beach and green areas, you will not be dissapointed.
Try to get up early morning for a walk along the beach and experience the sunrise, or finish the evening with a stroll and enjoy an icecream on the way.

Go for a nice stroll along the beach to the left of Dragør habour and walk back through the town, or go to the right and pass the little marina, cross over towards the Dragør Fort hotel. Here you can stroll around looking at bunkers and the Fort. To the left of the Hotel you will find a little Cafe (Cafe Siam) that serves nice refreshments. Bring it up to the green top over the cafe, where you can sit and enjoy the view to Sweden and watch all the boats and ships passing by.

Dragør Havn
2 Gamle HavnVery cosy harbour and little old town with nice atmosphere just 10 km from our house.
Go for a nice stroll along the beach to the left of Dragør habour and walk back through the town, or go to the right and pass the little marina, cross over towards the Dragør Fort hotel. Here you can stroll around looking at bunkers and the Fort. To the left of the Hotel you will find a little Cafe (Cafe Siam) that serves nice refreshments. Further it is a kidsfriendly place with sheep that the kids can pet, horses to ride etc. there is a nature information center where they often have funny activities for kids and adults. Check on the web. The cafe there is also a very nice place to go to for a brunch or just a cup of coffee.

The Little Mermaid is Copenhagen's icon. This is a must to see when visiting CPH.
Start your trip at Nyhavn and walk along Toldbodgade to Amalienborg (Queens Castle) and continue down Esplanaden to Royal Pavillions, Gefion Springwater and finally to the Little Mermaid. Hereafter you walk back through "Kastellet" to Kongens Nytorv and back to Nyhavn, where you will find plenty of cafees for a little drink:-)

Very nice place for dinner or just a drink during daytime. Situated in the middle of Amager strand. Very prof and service mindet - good sushi - and nice athmosphere. A Little expensive though.
