This is a must-see in Copenhagen. The second oldest amusement park in Europe (the oldest is located just north of Copenhagen), it is densely and cleverly packed within one city block. Walking through you will find rides, games, gardens and restaurants, to satisfy every one - young and old alike! …
Super fun place for children and adults alike! Really fun rides but there are also great restaurants and performances

Goes without saying if you’re travelling to Copenhagen, with or without kids, Tivoli is always a good idea. During the spring, summer and fall, every Friday there are concerts at the main green area in Tivoli, free of charge once you’ve paid your entry.
Tivoli Gardens was founded in 1843 and has become a national treasure and an international attraction. Fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen visited many times, as did Walt Disney who even found the inspiration to his own Disney World here.
Worlds oldest amusement park known all over the world. Amazing place full of history and lovely danish culture
Tivoli Gardens is one of the oldest entertainment parks in the world. Very cozy and quaint.
Beautiful historic (second oldest operating theme park in the world) amusement park with activities and rides for the whole family, wonderful restaurants. Highly recommended during Christmas. Very pricey.
Historic amusement park that can be visited both for the rides, music (concerts every Friday during the summer months), as well as the beautiful scenery. A must see in Copenhagen.
Tivoli is by far denmark's best amusement park! I came here many times as a kid, and it is such a fun experience. Tivoli was founded by Georg Carstensen in 1843, making it the world’s second oldest amusement park. The last couple years a lot of new rides have been built making it a little less…
The most charming amusement park. Even really nice when you don’t want to do the rides. A bit expensive but worth the cost I think. The pantomime theater is Tivoli essential

“Frederiksberg Gardens At the main entrance, visitors are officially received by Frederik VI, a former king much beloved by his people, so one is fully aware of entering his garden. In the waters of the beautiful garden he used to be rowed about on the canals saluting the people. The statue's pedestal has the following inscription: 'Here he felt happy in the midst of loyal people'. Today, Svendsen's Boat Service (Svendsens Bådfart) will do the rowing for you. Boat tours operate all summer. The boat tour will give you a good idea of the vastness of the gardens. On the tour you will see the Frederiksberg Palace, towering on a hill top, many lovely little bridges, and the Chinese Pavilion that was erected in 1799 as a Royal teahouse. For centuries, the Frederiksberg Gardens has been a favourite outing spot for Copenhageners. Many bring their picnic baskets for lunch and top off the day by visiting the Copenhagen Zoo in the northernmost end of the gardens. For horticultural inspiration, visit the lovely gardens of the Royal Horticultural Society (Haveselskabets Have) at the main entrance. Stop by the Chinese Tea House, if you feel like tea and cakes on your way through the garden. The gardens are open from 06:00 through 17:00 to 22:00 depending on the season. ”
