Is not only big enough to take a while to walk round but it has a children’s play park, tennis courts and a running track round the edge with fitness “obstacles” and the pond is home to lots of ducks and swans.

Very close to the apartment you will find an entrance down toward the Water of Leith, which is a nice stream that runs through the centre of the city.

If you're looking to blow away the cobwebs, go for a walk up Arthurs Seat for a fantastic view right over the city (the mound of rock that towers over the city centre) Don't worry, there are paths that lead up it so you should be fine in trainers. Make your way towards the Scottish Parliament buildings (or Holyrood Palace), and there is a car-park there (usually with an ice-cream van!) with lots of routes leading off it.

Greek restaurant 5-10 minutes from the flat. Owned and ran by friends of mine. The head chef is Greek and the food is amazing! I’m not biased either, check it out for yourself!
