The service is quick and friendly at this airy, modern Taiwanese restaurant in Silver Lake. Just order at the counter, take a number, and sit at one of the family-sized tables. Whether your kids love noodles or rice dishes, they’ll find something to enjoy. Mine love the minced pork on rice, dumplings, scallion pancake, and Taiwanese sweet-potato fries. Kids under the age of 3 are really not equipped to handle breakable glasses and ceramic plates. So it’s nice that the restaurant provides cute plastic kid bowls to make the meal less stressful for parents.

(10 min walk/ 2 min drive - Casual) Popular mom and pop Taiwanese comfort food that's really well balanced. Must get: pan seared pork buns - crispy on the bottom, fluffy on top, and juicy in the middle.
