Fun way to explore the area, get fit (or get sore in my case), and perhaps get a little lost. I've walked the stairs twice now and only seen one other person on them. Quiet and beautiful slice of adventure.

Although now considered one of the most IG-ed stairs in LA, in the 1950s the Micheltorena Stairs connected hilltop Silver Lake residence to the busy streetcar lines along Sunset Boulevard.
