Shawarma Grill-House with the subtitle "Est. 1981" is easily the best shawarma in town. The meat is prepared with a special marinade, with a rich taste of youghurt and spice. Their chili sauce is exceptionally good, tasty and sweet with just the right amount of bite. Extremely fast food, once you get to the counter, but expect some queue at peak hours.

In 1980, Shawarma Grill-house opened the first Lebanese restaurant on Strøget in Copenhagen. It was the first Shawarma restaurant, not only in Denmark, but throughout Scandinavia. It resulted in a whole new revolutionary type of food that was healthy and prepared from the best quality ingredients, from the homemade marinade to the meat, as well as the much-talked about chili sauce, also homemade, based on our own secret recipes.

Best shawarma and fallafel. The others are not worth trying. Do try the tabouleh too and fresh juice.
