Inaugurated on June 17, 1931. It has a seating capacity of 25,000 and is regarded as the home of bullfighting in Spain. The season starts in March and ends in October.

The Bullfighting Museum ("Museo Taurino"), is at plaza de Las Ventas. A must visit for those who enjoy or want to understand bullfighting. It is worth to see the Goya's printings. The entrance is next to "puerta del patio de caballos" (entrance to the horses' courtyard). Opening Hours: Everyday, 10:00 – 18:30. The days when a bullfight is held, it closes 4 hours sooner. Single ticket, 15€. Students and seniors, 12€. Juniors, from 6 to 12 years old, 8€. Free for children under 5 years old. You can also book a tour that includes a guided visit to Las Ventas bullring and its Bullfighting Museum ("Museo Taurino") and a dinner with Flamenco show at La Quimera. The price is 51,30€ and can be booked through this link.
