The Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum in Hatteras has exhibits and demonstrations on OBX history and culture, talks on the Civil War and WWII, maritime art and music, and fishing history and life-saving stories. They also hold scavenger hunts for kids.

Yes we are known as the Graveyard of the Atlantic and this museum houses some of the most interesting artifacts left behind by those unfortunate enough to get beached on our little slice of paradise. Check it out! While You're there carve out some time to climb the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse!!
