“This neighbourhood restaurant, up the street from Praça das Flores, is a former grocery store from 1870, and the name is that of the original owner, whose portrait can be seen on a wall. There’s also the portrait of Mrs. Deolinda, the store’s second owner after Mrs. Quitéria. They’re both now part of the décor which has changed little for the space’s new life as a “petiscos” (tapas) restaurant. Is now essentially classic Portuguese “petiscos” at the table. They’re available for lunch and dinner, always with a welcoming ambience. Recently frequented by the actor, singer and writer Eddie Redmayne, Oscar winner for Best Actor in 2015. On Sundays there is fado, at 20.30h. Average price 20€ ”
