Sugar Shack is where you'll find the locals having breakfast - it's been on Main St since 1967 and has barely changed in all that time. Lunch food is good there, but it's really a breakfast spot. The food is the best version of classic greasy-spoon you could ask for (with healthy items too). Great omelettes and burritos and the hash browns are always perfect. Sitting on the patio is first come, first served, just write your name on the clipboard by the front door. If it's looking crowded out front there's a second patio in the back with it's own waiting list.

Down-home breakfast on the sidewalk in Huntington Beach. This is a favorite, but a long way to go just for breakfast. We go there in conjunction with other fun plans.

Iconic Main street breakfast/brunch/lunch location known from the beach genre of music in the 1960's. Great range of food choices for adults and kids but can be packed on weekends. Front patio seating right on Main street or back patio for when the place overflows. I love the food here but I would recommend grabbing a Starbucks a few doors down to help with the wait and replace the old school coffee if that is not your thing.
