Catch the boat in Northeast Harbor for a day trip out to the Cranberry Isles. You can pay extra to take your bike. Makes for a fun day of pedaling around and seeing MDI from the outer islands!

Take a tour of the gorgeous waters surrounding Cranberry and Islesford islands on a small boat that delivers the mail to the folks who live there. This is one of my favorites summer activities. Less touristy and more personal than the big tours but just as fun.

This is the mail boat that goes out to the Cranberry Islands...SPECTACULAR views and a very fun way to spend half a day.

This is one of three companies offering a cheap trip to the Cranberry Islands. The other two are the Cranberry Cove Ferry and Cranberry Isles Commuter Service. You can get dropped off and take a later ferry back the same day, giving you time to check out real Maine island life and scenes.
