Sliding Rock is a natural waterslide found in the Dupont State Forest. Grab a towel and hike to Looking Glass Falls after you dry off. The falls are sometimes a little crowded, but worth it.

Beautiful drive up 276 to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Looking Glass Falls is right next to the road for lazy waterfall access. There is a staircase to the bottom and you can walk down river and be alone.
