A beautiful building in beautiful gardens, all year round. Even if you don't go inside, it is worth a visit. Home of the famous Lehar Festival, with music and shows all year round and of course, various food and drink festivals in the summer months, as well as the ice rink, located here in the winter months.

With the motto "Culture is the new salt", the Salzkammergut was chosen to be Europan Cultural Capital of 2024. But Bad Ischl and the Salzkammergut already offer a wide range of cultural activities for all tastes and ages: Whether Léhar (Leharvilla / Lehartheater), Kalmán, Bruckner, Brahms, Nestroy or the Walzerköng Strauss - many artists felt at home in Ischl and left their mark here. The operetta week, which has been taking place in the Kongress- und Theaterhaus since 1961, is now called the Lehár Festival and is a highlight of the Salzkammergut summer. In addition to classics, you can also expect musicals here.
