Israeli food is having a moment, and Mh Zh is one of L.A.’s best restaurants to enjoy it! Silver Lake's Middle Eastern gem is affordable, trendy and totally tasty, but prepare to wait, there's not much seating, and the line can wrap around the block.

Tiny Israeli hipster restaurant. Delicious food. The menu is limited but everything is incredibly tasty. Get there early, they don't take reservations and space is limited. We love it here.

Great super casual/no reservation Israeli restaurant for dinner. Usually about a 15-20 minute wait to get in. Get the hummus, foul and the whole branzino.

Is pronounced “mah zeh” and loosely translates to “what is it” in Hebrew. From a menu written on brown paper bags to their BYOB (bring your own booze) policy, and its incredible Israeli food, this is one of the hottest restaurants in the area. Some items on their menu they are one of the best thing we’ve ever tried. We completely recommend to wait in the line to sit here!
