Whether you are looking for a long day hike or a short 5-minute walk to amazing sunsets spots - Mont Rochelle is the place to go. It is situated on top of the Franschhoek Pass, so you are right in the mountains. You can also get a fantastic aerial view of our picturesque town from some spots. Permits are available at the gate but, if you come after 5 pm, it is free.

Stunning views and lots of indigenous fynbos/flora. Need to buy a permit at the info office or in cash at the guard gate.

It is beautiful, it's active, it's fresh it's for the nature lover. If you like walking please spoil yourself to this amazing trail. There is a ticket office at the top of the pass.
