Fonna is one of Europe's foremost summer ski centers, located 1200 meters above sea level on the glacier of Jondal in the heart of Hardanger. Fonna is one of Europe's foremost summer ski centers. Located 1200 meters above sea level in the heart of Hardanger, we offer alpine trails for the whole family, varied freestyle park and cross-country trails on the glacier. From the top of the ski lift, 1470 meters above sea level, you have spectacular views of the glacier, the Hardangerfjord and the North Sea. The summer season at Fonna normally lasts from May to September, and we stay open daily. Restaurant Fonna1199 serve  hot and cold dishes, drinks and snacks. The restaurant are located at the base of the skiresort.
