Walk the Battle of Westport historical tour, take a picnic lunch, play some tennis, take a run, enjoy the pond and gardens, especially the famed "Rose Garden". Playground located on the south edge of the park.
A KC native favorite, you will find lots of green space and adorable dogs here. If you have some time, ask us about how Nick got stuck in a tree here once. It is pretty hilarious.
Kansas City’s third largest park. The 75-acre Loose Park offers a wide variety of outdoor activities for visitors, including paved trails, tennis courts, spray grounds, a playground with a small rock wall and a sand pit, and fields ideal for ball games, frisbee, and kite fishing.

“Crown Center is a shopping and entertainment district dominated by its namesake mall, which overlooks a plaza with an ice rink. Family-friendly attractions include the Hallmark Visitors Center, with exhibits on this iconic local brand, and the Coterie Theatre, staging both classic and contemporary shows. Displays at the nearby National World War I Museum include life-size trenches and a walk-through shell crater. ”
