You want a classic, old-school NE Mpls dive bar experience? You're not gonna get more authentic than Jimmy's. Cash only. Beers and shots, mixed drinks at reasonable prices. Uh, also TV dinners. Yes, that's right. And some other random food, including a good hot dog. But, people aren't there for the food. Don't forget to bring cash or your cash card 'cause they don't do plastic.
