This is the USFS Visitor Center -- the interpretive displays are great, and the view is too! The bookstore is also quite good! Definitely worth a visit!

Mono Lake Visitors Center. Combine with eating at Whoa Nellie Deli and the June Lake Loop drive.

Through a short walk you can walk up and see the tufas which are very interesting. You can also see the water level of Mono Lake years ago vs now.

Known for the famous Tufa Towers located on the SE shore of of Hwy. 120 E. The Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitors Center is a great place to visit to take in local history and nature scenic views.
