This is a great tea house, best if you can get a small booth to yourself (not happening on Friday or Saturday night). Lots of teas with good explanations. One can learn a lot about tea, have many hot and cold drinks.

Çikolata Dükkanı
“The lines get kind of crazy here, but I promise, they move fast and it's worth the wait. (I need that long to decide what I want to get). Their factory on Riverside Drive has an abbreviated menu, but it's a little more laid back if you want to beat the crowds. They also have a new Cookies & Creamery in the South Slope. ”

“This may be a little bit of a secret spot in Asheville. They do take reservations. Delicious Southern appetizers, small plates and entrees. They are known for their Rum selection, hence the name. ”

“If you just want a good cup of joe and a bagel quickly, as well as the option to stay for the free WIFI, check out Izzy's downtown. It's a bit of a hipster coffee shop but without the hipster attitude. The baristas are all friendly and skilled, the bagels are great and inexpensive, and their chocolate chip cookies are out of this world (though my wife prefers the ones at Old Europe, hah!). They also always have great music playing there, though depending on the barista it can range into some weird electro ambient atmospheres.”
