My (Aly's) personal favorite restaurant in Louisville--you won't find this in guidebooks, but they have excellent gyro sandwiches, hearty helpings of fries, and the middle eastern hospitality is an experience I wouldn't want to miss. Mahmoud gives you a little cup of lentil soup at the beginning and a small cup of tea at the end--and it is all cheap! The hummus and pita are also wonderful.
