Theres 3 Missions all in the same area. This is just one of them. They are so beautiful and full of history! Even the kids enjoyed going to see the Missions.
The Mission are free admission all day, they have Mission Concepcion, Jose, San Juan, Espada and the Alamo. You’ll find a beautiful aqueduct too by Espada Rd. You can bring your bikes.
After you see the Alamo, visit Mission Concepcion. Its the closest mission and is about 2 miles from downtown. Go on a bike to get the full experience. There are five other Missions along the trail that get overlooked so drive and make it a half day to enjoy all of them.

“San Antonio Missions National Historical Park is a National Historical Park and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site preserving four of the five Spanish frontier missions in San Antonio, Texas, USA. Of course, these outposts were established by Catholic religious orders to spread Christianity among the local natives. But overtime they have become great for sightseeing. Enjoy!!”
