The Škocjanski zatok Nature Reserve covers an area of 122 ha of Mediterranean marsh and the largest brackish marsh in Slovenia, very important for its rich flora and fauna. Free entrance.

Natural reserve, great for bird watching. There is a new complex with nice information and a cafe. Really nice and educational place for families with children.
