An assortment of locally crafted beer. This is a fun gathering spot in Scottsville. Note, they don't have food, so plan to pick something up locally and you can eat it at this beer tasting room.

From James River Breweries Website: "James River Brewery makes its home in a 19th century, brick tobacco warehouse in small-town, historic Scottsville, Virginia. Though it was once called James River Brewing company 2012-2015. In 2015 the current owners and brewing team took charge and business has been booming since. Not only has the Tap Room been renovated and state-wide distribution increase 300% since 2015. James River Brewery has also earned 5 prestigious awards, including Gold Medal at the 2015 Virginia Craft Brewers Cup, Plus Gold Medal and Best in Show at the 2016 Virginia Craft Brewers Cup."

Where the locals gather to leave the week's challenges behind and enjoy craft brews and a little light-hearted laughter with friends from all walks of life. Located on the Mink Creek, it boasts a very casual outdoor "Beer Garden" with local musical talent. What could be more relaxing?
