Hike, swim a beautiful location. Picinic or get a quick bite / ice cream at the food stand near the entrance to the gorge.

Vermont's Grand Canyon.. a much smaller scale...beautiful.

The gorge is fun to check out, and Woodstock, VT is a great little day trip. There are quite a few good restaurants and antique shops.
