A hidden gem, tucked away at the end of downtown, Nicollet Island’s colorful houses and hidden paths make for a peaceful escape in the city.
Lots of nice trails/sidewalks to walk around with great views of the city and the river. Some nice bars and restaurants on Main St. NE Can actually do a loop with Hennepin Avenue bridge to stone arch bridge and see the other side of the river too.
The only inhabited island on the Mississippi River featuring historic Victorian-era homes, acres of park land and trails for jogging, biking, walking.

“Red Stag is owned by a well known local restaurateur who is working to elevate female chefs to the National spotlight. Their food is tasty and they have a good brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The space is larger, so great for groups. ”
