Beautiful area of downtown Minneapolis with restaurants, bars and walking paths.
Iconic Minneapolis scenes and history make this a favorite stroll for locals and visitors alike. From here, Mill City Museum, the Guthrie Theatre and downtown Minneapolis are at your fingertips.
A beautiful walk, live musicians in the summer with a farmers market nearby. Beside the Mill City Museum which is also a great stop.
Beautiful, historic bridge in Mpls! And extremely popular for a great "photo shoot!"

“Longfellow House Hospitality Center is here, with info on the Grand Rounds and more. There’s a stone staircase to below the falls for a view looking up, and a stone wall on street level for a view from the side. Follow the trail further to a small sandy beach. The picnic grounds above are great, but Sea Salt, a restaurant nestled in the trees is even better, especially if you can nab a table outside. The line will be long, but it moves fast. There’s a wading pool and playground nearby the restaurant. Parking can be hairy, the large lot might be full, but if you don’t mind walking a bit, there are street side meters, or you can park on the residential streets not far away. ”

“World renowned. Its architectural wonders, the Amber Box and the Endless Bridge are a must-see, even if you don’t attend a play. Enter freely and ask directions or follow signs. Several good restaurants very nearby. I love the tuna poke at Sea Change. guthrietheater.org ”

“Bde Maka Ska — Walking path around the very scenic lake. A trolley runs in both directions between Bde Maka Ska and Lake Harriet. Nice view of downtown from here. ”

“Butcher & the Boar opened in 2012 in Minneapolis, MN, with a simple idea. Create a festive and communal dining experience with American craft food, beer and bourbon. We are a steak and smoked meats house. We believe that top notch ingredients sourced from local farms and premium purveyors and prepared with superior culinary technique is the secret to great food.”
