Pick a sunny day to make a trip to this white sand beach about 40 min away. Stop at Huron Fish and Chips for lunch or the Mutchamor Peace Cafe for an authentic Chai latte, treats and shopping. Walk the boardwalk along the protected Sand Dunes, maybe even catch sight of a monarch caterpillar, cocoon or butterfly under the railings. Lots of milkweed for them to harvest around here. Great playground spot right on the beech with stroller accessibility.

You will find a huge sand beach, a boardwalk and large playground. Enjoy the Fish and Chips at one of the picnic tables.

Great sand beach with playground on Lake Huron. Coffee house - The Mutchmore; Fish and Chips; Huron Sands…check on possible charging station. Head over to the dock and take a walk along the shore to the lighthouse. Or possibly a fishing charter (as us for details as we run it!)

For Islanders, the name Providence Bay is synonymous with ‘the beach’. Located on the south shore of Manitoulin and looking out upon a vast expanse of Lake Huron , the beach at Providence Bay is arguably the best in Northern Ontario.

Gorgeous, natural sand beach and boardwalk, playground, snack shop, interpretive centre. Close by is a great coffee shop and fish & chips.
