If you are not the adventurous type, there are boring clipper river cruises which will take you around. But if you like to explore, kayaking is the best option. The river ride gives you a great view of downtown city of Pittsburgh and amazing view on the other side of the river of the city spread over the hills. Be ready to sweat it out a bit especially if the weather is a bit warm. The kayaks have the option of solo kayaks and 2 person kayaks which is a great option if you have a family. Overall a good Attraction and must do in Pittsburgh.
