A must do while in the city is to stand at the bottom of the Washington Monument and peer up to the very top, but an even better way to experience it is to go inside! Get a bird's eye view of the nation's capital by riding the elevator up!

A stay in DC certainly I recommend stopping by this. Even better if you can get free tickets online to see view at top. Nearby to many museums as well.

A great view from the top, but you may need to get reservations ahead of time. Plan ahead!

If you haven’t been to the National Mall, it’s a must see and must experience tourist scene. It is surrounded by number of museums and other attractions.
