My buddy Gregorio is the head chef here, so whenever I’m in town, I always make time to get to Nobu. There are a couple of signature dishes, like the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno or the spicy tuna on rice, but they also have great salads—I love their mushroom salad. I just go in and gorge myself on food, then go into a food coma afterwards. If you can, book a seat on the outside deck—the waves are breaking right underneath you, and they’ve got heaters, so it’s not a big deal if it's winter.

Walk over and put your name on the walk in list. They usually call within 3 hours. This has one of the most beautiful views and the good is fantastic.
