Skiing at Kirkwood Mountain is about 45 minutes away from us. One of the best ski resorts in all the Sierras, in our opinion!

World class skiing for beginners and experts. Kirkwood is more low key and away from the South Lake crowds.

My favorite ski resort in the area. Famous for its deep snowpack and steep terrain, Kirkwood is many a local's favorite in-bounds playground. Give yourself plenty of time to get there on a powder day as the highway can be treacherous and slow-going.
