A local favorite, walk along the waterfront on the well maintained and paved path, rent a scooter or a kayak, lots of great restaurants with outside patio seating over the water.

This waterfront park offers all the views with bars, restaurants and a beautiful shopping center that offers ice cream, more restaurants, shops and a movie theater. If I could add this one to all of the categories, I would!

An easy fully paved loop with views of downtown Tacoma, Vashon Island, Mount Rainier, the Olympic mountains and sometimes orcas or seals!
