Amalienborg Palace is a must for anyone with a taste for royal history and the life of Denmark’s royal family who still resides inside the palace.
Of course you'll have to pay a visit to our Royal family. Time your visit with the times the guard changes.
There's the queen's castle, but then there's also a pretty garden facing towards the water which is a great place for a stroll and free for all.
The Danish royal castle, where the royal family lives, and where the royal guards parade.

“Freetown Christiana. This neighborhood is mostly known for Pusherstreet, where the drugdealers have all their business out in the open - but it is so much more than just Weed. Take a guided walking tour, or go see all the odd houses on your own. Take a walk but the canal and into the "jungle". And do not hesitate to ask the locals if you have any questions. Sit down at Nemoland and have a beer and enjoy the Sunday Live music, or buy a coffee at Månefiskeren.”

“The King's Garden in Copenhagen is the country's oldest royal garden and was laid out by Christian IV in the early 17th century. The garden has been open to the public since the 1770s and is today a popular breathing space in the center of Copenhagen, which is visited by approximately three million people every year. Although the garden has undergone several alterations over time, the main alleys are still preserved. The garden contains a large perennial bed, a rose garden and a large number of small and large sculptures, the symmetrical renaissance facility Krumspringet, and for the benefit of the little ones, there is an adventurous and artistic playground. During the summer, the garden forms the setting for many music and theater events, including puppet theater for the little ones.”
