Christiansborg Palace, located on the tiny island of Slotsholmen, contains the Danish Parliament Folketinget, the Supreme Court, and the Ministry of State.

This castle is located within walking distance to Christiania the free town. You can view the royal stables, the royal kitchen, the greeting room which the Royal family still uses today. The bell tower is free and opens daily for long hours, and provides a great bird's eye view of Copenhagen city center.
