It is a one way 11 mile loop through an old settlers community. There are old log homes, farms, churches, and short and long hiking trails. There is also a welcome center in the back of the loop.
Beautiful, scenic drive through the valley with historic cabins, churches, horseback riding, and wildlife sightings.
On the back of the loop road there is a visitor center and an old community. There is a working grist mill black smith shop and in season they are making sorghum molasses. Great place to see bears also. Bring a picnic lunch and find YOUR spot. Do bring snacks as it takes a few hours to do and no…
It's beautiful! Great to just drive around or get out and take little or long hikes.
