Point of Interest
“Crossing from one side of the peninsula to the other, this walk starts at the Western Sister headland of Sullivan Bay, Sorrento, then takes you through a Coastal Moonah Woodland habitat and the Tuckey Track Bushland Reserve, past Diamond Bay to finish at St Paul's Lookout at Bass Strait. The walk is mostly flat, with gently undulating sections, with a steep rise to St Paul's Lookout. The Tuckey Track is an interesting walk through history as it follows in the footsteps of Lieutenant James Tuckey who wrote 'An Account of a Voyage to Establish a Colony at Port Phillip'. This account provided valuable information about the convict settlement and the landscape in 1804. Start Location: 3157 Point Nepean Road Sorrento Victoria End Location: St Pauls Lookout Sorrento Victoria 3943 Distance: 2 KMS Time to Complete: 0.7 HRS Facilities: Carpark, One way, Walk, Birdwatching, Walks Difficulty: Grade 2”

“A great 40 minute walk through some lush Australian bush, watch for the kangaroos as you go! At the end you find yourself on a picture perfect beach and small bay with waves crashing in from Bass Strait.”
