A cool plaza with several eateries, shops, and outdoor space for gathering. They regularly has live music and it’s right across from the bio park, so a great place to visit.

This motel has remodeled the rooms into tiny restaurants and retails shops. It is walking distance...two blocks from the casita.

Check out Zendo for some great coffee, and go back in the evening for drinks at Ponderosa!! 5 min walk from the front door

Great atmosphere, food, shops and taproom with local beers. Across the street for the Albuquerque Aquarium and Rio Grande Botanic Gardens. Note- Small parking lot, Uber ride midday will run about $10.00.
