The charm of Tailor's Bar lies in the fact that it is a very well-hidden lounge. It does not have any signage on the outside, which is reminiscent of the modern New York speakeasies (bars of the 1930s, in the Prohibition era). Tailor's is located just off Zanzibar, on Queen Ginga Street; the only sign that there is anything in that place is a game of blue and discreet lights. When we take our friends there, we always hear comments like "oh, where are they taking us anyway?" A wooden staircase ascends, and on the upper floor, on the right side, has a door, likewise of wood, almost always closed; the sign below announces that we have arrived at the right place.
